During quarantine I found my love for woodworking. It is so much fun getting together with family and building all kinds of projects. We had so much extra time on our hands and just kind of went for it. As we go, our projects get better and more advanced.
It all started because we were spending a lot of time outside during the quarantine and I wanted a place for the kids to eat. I considered buying a table but I decided they were a bit pricey. After doing some research we decided that we would try to build one ourselves. Instead of spending money on a pricey table we went out and bought a miter saw and we never looked back. Building this table brought us so much joy along with a revelation that we can build so much more!

Along this journey we have made many mistakes and learned many lessons. We have also added to our tool collection which makes it possible to do even more.
We have some really exciting projects that we are planning to do this year. Many of which you will see in our new home which should be ready for us to move in sometime summer 2021. So be on the lookout for those.
These builds add so much value to our homes as we are able to customize projects to fit specific needs. It is also really special to have a story behind the items in our home that we will cherish forever.
